Answer: The creature of the Bingle bog gave an enthusiastic reaction to the nightingale's singing. They appreciated  loudly and asked to sing for some more time.

b. Which are the different ways in which the frog asserts his importance?

Answer: The frog asserted his importance by boasting about himself to the nightingale by saying that he his the owner of the sumac tree on which see is sitting. Nevertheless, he says that he is popular all over the bog for his splendid voice and he also writes for the bog trumpet.

c. Why is the frog's joy both sweet and bitter?

Answer: The frogs's joy is both sweet as he is earning a good amount of money by charging admission fee to those who come to listen the nightingale's song. His joy is bitter as he is losing his dominance and popularity due to nightingale's presence.

d. Why was the frog angry?

Answer: The frog was angry as the nightingale was losing the glamour and melody of her song because of which the creatures of the bog had stopped coming to listen to her songs, which led to a great financial loss to the frog.

e. How did the frog become the unrivalled king of the bog again?

Answer: The frog became the unrivalled king of the bog again after the nightingale's death due to the cunning strategy of the frog. Finally he had become the king of the bog without any competitor.
